I hope I’m not offending any vegetarians, but this week, it’s all about the poultry and protein. When a 7.0-magnitude earthquake struck Haiti’s capital Port-au-Prince in 2010, the population was pushed deeper into its battle with poverty. Thousands of people died, families were separated and the country’s free market economy plunged. Nonprofit organizations, charities and relief efforts flooded into Haiti for support, and though six years have passed since the earthquake, the country is still picking up the pieces.

She sings. She dances. She has a body most girls can only dream of. Oh, and she can captivate the attention of millions in less than 24 hours. On December 13, 2013 Beyoncé Knowles did just that; she released a self-titled album on iTunes including 17 videos and 14 songs, without any promotion or warning.
